Platte Valley Dental is once again looking for a bright, trustworthy, and hard-working team member to fill the Dental Assistant position. Experience is not necessary as we are happy to train the right person. Our current dental assistant is moving on to a dream career and, while he will be missed, we are seeking someone able to continue to perform the necessary duties to keep our clinic running smoothly and safely.
Responsibilities of this position include assisting Dr. Scott with dental procedures and surgeries as well as sterilizing equipment and preparing rooms for patients. The assistant will be provided with the materials for an x-ray certification. Afterwards, taking x-rays will become part of the job.
Pay starts at $20/hour for training. As your skills increase, pay will increase as well. After one year, we also offer 401K with employer match, paid time off, and a dental benefit.
Dr. Scott strives to accommodate people as best as he can so we often have to see emergency patients whenever we are able to fit them into the schedule. We do typically only work 4 days a week, however, so you can enjoy weekends + 1 week day off while still getting 40 hours a week! We are also willing to work around your schedule. Summer hours can be negotiated as we often have extra help during that time.
