Giving back to the community that gives so much.

Saratoga Springs Family Dentistry recently held a donation drive to collect supplies for the Backstretch Employee Service Team (B.E.S.T) and their free store serving local backstretch workers at the track.

Our donation included 1,000 toothbrushes and 1,000 tubes of toothpaste.

We’re proud to support BEST and the important work they do for the backstretch workers. 🐎

At the end of July, team members from all nine offices gathered at The Bunker Saratoga in downtown Saratoga Springs for our annual summer party.

We enjoyed great food, trivia, a longest drive competition and golf on the simulators.

A highlight of the evening was a surprise video thanking Dr. Dodd for his support, generosity and dedication to exceptional dentistry and our patients’ health.

Dr. David Kavanagh recently joined WRGB CBS 6 News, Albany to share his expertise on GLP-1 medications and oral health.

Dr. Kavanagh explained that while GLP-1 medications do not directly damage teeth, dry mouth can be a potential side effect and may increase the risk of cavities, gum problems and bad breath.
