Dear patients and colleagues,

During these challenging times, Sarasota Periodontal Associates would like to inform you that our office will remain open, following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Dental Association (ADA) guidelines to care for those who require urgent assistance or necessary dental treatment. The safety to our patients, staff, and community is our utmost priority.

Our doctors are constantly and carefully assessing the developments in the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the CDC, ADA, and American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) recommendations.

Currently, we are delaying elective treatment. We will continue to see patients with urgent dental needs and patients with conditions in which a delay in surgical treatment could result in impairment of their condition.

Therefore, effective March 20, 2020, we will suspend all scheduled appointments for elective procedures. As this situation is constantly evolving, we will continue to inform you on any progress as the latest information becomes available.

Our doctors are working diligently to provide care to any and all patients who are in discomfort and/or have active infection.

With less than 12 hours away, we can use all the help that we can get in getting the message out there that we are here to help. This coming Saturday, December 14th at 8am-1pm, we will be providing a day of free dental care to those are in need. So that no one will go through the holidays with a toothache or a broken tooth. This will be a first come first serve basis. This is service is provided by all the volunteers committed in giving back to the community that they love. Let's do this! Please look through all the locations listed below. For all those dental professionals that want to volunteer, Please contact us at 941-365-4418. We are in need of additional hands in our selected locations.
