We know the Easter Bunny is bringing plenty of goodies, but some sweets can be tough on your brackets and wires. To keep your treatment on track and your smile shining, stick to these smile-safe picks! ✨
✅ The “Good” List (Braces-Friendly):
Melt-in-your-mouth chocolate: Plain chocolate bunnies, Hershey’s Kisses, and Dove Promises.
Soft peanut butter treats: Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs are a classic safe choice.
Marshmallows: Peeps and other fluffy marshmallow treats (just chew slowly!).
Soft baked goods: Cupcakes, soft cookies, and brownies (no nuts!).

Ever wonder how we keep things sparkling clean? ✨ It’s all about the Autoclave! 🔬
Your safety is our top priority, and we don’t just “wash” our tools. We sterilize them using medical-grade technology. Here is a behind the scenes look at how we protect your smile:
1️⃣ Pre-Clean: After every patient, tools are manually scrubbed and placed in an ultrasonic cleaner to remove any debris.
2️⃣ The Wrap: Instruments are dried and sealed in special indicator pouches that change color once sterilization is complete.
3️⃣ The Autoclave: This is where the magic happens! We use a combination of high-pressure steam and extreme heat.
4️⃣ Destruction of Germs: This intense environment is so powerful it destroys all forms of microbial life—including bacteria, viruses, and even tough spores—that standard cleaning just can’t touch. 🦠🚫
Fun Fact: An autoclave works similarly to a pressure cooker, but on a much more precise and powerful scale to ensure 100% sterility!

✨ Here is your step-by-step guide to keeping those aligners crystal clear and fresh every single day:
1. Rinse IMMEDIATELY 💧
Every time you take them out, rinse them under lukewarm or cool water. This prevents saliva and plaque from drying into a cloudy film.
Pro Tip: Never use hot water it can warp the plastic and ruin your fit!
2. The Daily Deep Clean 🪥
Brush your trays at least once a day. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and some dish soap.
⚠️ AVOID TOOTHPASTE: It’s too abrasive and creates tiny scratches that trap bacteria and make trays look dull and cloudy.
3. The 15-Minute Soak 🛁
Mix one part distilled white vinegar with three parts lukewarm water and submerge the aligners for 15–30 minutes to remove buildup and bacteria. Afterward, brush the aligners gently with a soft toothbrush and rinse thoroughly with water to remove the vinegar taste and smell.
4. Clean Teeth = Clean Aligners 🦷
Never put aligners back in without brushing and flossing your teeth first. Trapping food particles against your teeth is a recipe for yellowing and cavities.
5. Water Only! 🚫☕
Remove your trays for everything except plain water. Coffee, tea, and soda will stain the plastic almost instantly.
6. Store it, Don’t Lose it 📥
When they aren’t in your mouth, they MUST be in their protective case. Leaving them exposed to air invites bacteria and increases the risk of them getting tossed in the trash.
Keep it clean, keep it clear, and keep that progress moving! 😁✨
