Educational Post: it’s sad to see situations like this but once a month I get surgical cases like this were I’m taking about the whole teeth in the mouth due to poor oral hygiene so please people take care of your teeth.

Simple yearly hygiene appearance with your dentist and hygienist can prevent these situations. 😥

I have done quite a few root canals via the crown…Believe me, they’re not fun at all. This one was awesome cause it was one of our staff.

Lesson 101: Gold crowns are easier to drill through than other crowns. I prefer it over going through porcelain crown.

Anyway…I was proud of my assistant. She was an awesome pt.

Funniest case of the day!

This Pt. came in asking me to please see if I can take this tooth out for him because the clinic he went to wants to refer him to an oral surgeon to have the tooth taken out!

I couldn’t contain my laughter. 😆

10 seconds post-anesthesia and the tooth is out patient is out of the dental chair. 😝

X-rays can be deceiving, just look at the Intraoral location of this impacted third molar (wisdom tooth)!😳

I think the biggest flex 💪🏽 for a doctor is when their own staff insist they do their surgery. The trust to know that your doctor is the best and will do a wonderful job gets me excited!

I love doing surgery on anyone but it’s special when it’s on one of my own staff.
