Kimberly Pham DDS Smile Design Dentistry in Santa Barbara, CA Kimberly Pham immigrated to the United States in 1992 at age 17. Dr. Pham enjoys spending time with her family.

She attended San Marcos High School and graduated in 1994 with high honors. She achieved full scholarship to attend UC Santa Barbara, where she obtained her BS degree in Biological Sciences in 1998. Dr. Pham received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from University of Southern California, and she has dedicated her professional life to providing her patients with outstanding dental care si

nce 2005. She is married to her high school sweetheart, with whom she has two adorable children, Tyler and Genevieve. Her hobbies are interior decorating, flower arranging, and cooking. Creating a beautiful smile requires both technical excellence and an artistic eye. Dr. Pham combines both disciplines to produce a unique result based on your individual characteristics and needs.

This patient didn’t like his smile because of short worn down teeth. He has an edge-to-edge bite causing severe wear of his front teeth. We first corrected his bite with clear braces, then transformed his smile with just 4 porcelain crowns for the upper arch and a few composite bonding for his chipped edges of lower arch. He exudes confidence with his new smile. His wife came in to thank us and said “My husband is so handsome now!” 🥰

national garment, it symbolizes elegance and grace. It’s commonly worn for formal occasions, weddings, holidays like Tet (Vietnamese lunar new year). For this Tet, my children (19 & 14) and I wore our traditional outfits to temple to celebrate lunar new year, the year of the Horse.

Holiday run last Saturday with Nicxi, our office treatment coordinator. She did 5k and I did 10k. Nicxi did well for running 5k for the first time. I’ve done a few 5k run before but this was my first try with 10k and to my surprise, I won 3rd place in my age group! Half a marathon is our next goal! 😜

Big thanks to ACO (Africa Cries Out) for organizing the mission trip to Senegal West Africa. This one-week trip is the most memorable and rewarding experience thus far for me. I had the opportunity to give back and serve the less fortunate people of Senegal. Together with another dentist Dr Ma, we have performed hundreds of extractions, lots of cleanings and fillings at the dental clinic of the base. We also traveled out to the villages to see patients. We performed fluoride treatments there, gave away toothbrushes and oral hygiene instructions.
My 17 year-old son also came along to give his helping hands. So proud of him .
