Yesterday was Amy’s last day at Bigman Orthodontics.

After 13 years with our team, she is beginning an exciting new chapter after purchasing a home and relocating.

Over the years, Amy has helped countless patients and families navigate the financial and insurance side of treatment with patience, kindness, and care. She has been an important part of the experience our patients know and trust.

While we will miss seeing her every day, we are incredibly happy for her and this new adventure ahead.

Thank you, Amy, for 13 wonderful years, your dedication to our patients, and the many ways you’ve contributed to our practice.

These two terms are often used interchangeably, but they describe different things.

An overbite refers to how much the upper front teeth vertically overlap the lower teeth.

An overjet refers to how far the upper teeth project forward horizontally.

Understanding the difference matters because treatment planning is based on more than just whether teeth “look crooked.” Bite relationship, function, and long-term stability all play a role.

On Orthodontic Staff Appreciation Day, we’re celebrating the people who make Bigman Orthodontics feel like home.

Many of our team members have spent years, some even decades, walking alongside patients and families through some pretty big life moments. First appointments, milestone adjustments, debanding days, and everything in between.

That kind of dedication isn’t something you can train. It comes from people who truly care.
