This week, Sonrisas launched our new partnership with MidPen Housing one of the Bay Area's largest providers of affordable housing with supportive services. During this pilot, Sonrisas outreach and clinical staff will be providing health education, dental screenings, and mobile dental services to seniors at MidPen's residents in Half Moon Bay. This partnership underscores our commitment to physical, geographical, and language accessibility for underserved community members. This week, we provided an education presentation - incorporating information in 3 languages: English, Spanish, and simplified Chinese - to residents to kick off our partnership, and we will follow it up with screening and on-site clinic days.
