After graduating from Washington University School of Dentistry I completed a one-year hospital-based residency at VA Palo Alto in 1985. I associated at an office in San Francisco prior to opening our office in Santa Clara in 1988. One day per month for 17 years I was the staff dentist performing Oral Surgery at San Mateo County General Hospital. I have taught continuously at the University of Pac
ific School of Dentistry since 1986, one day each week for 25 years. I am still an Assistant Professor although I continue to teach on a more limited basis now. Each year I complete more than double the Continuing Education requirements established by the Dental Board of California. Moreover, I achieved Mastership, the highest award given by the Academy of General Dentistry. I love what I do, and I love the incredibly loyal people who work with me. I love my wife, Joelle, whom I married in 1974, and my two fabulous daughters as well as the two cutest grand daughters in the world. I also love my dogs and camping. I am actively involved in my church where I serve in a minor leadership role.
