Oops! Removing a failed implant.. pt presents with loose implant he had placed in Mexico many years ago. Implant was removed and bone graft placed to help bone regeneration for another implant in the future. Long term implant failures can happen because of many reasons: diabetes, poor oral hygiene, smoking etc.
