“I started coming to Dr. Lee last year because I didn't like the way my smile looked and there were spaces between my teeth. After wearing traditional braces for 18 months, I finally finished the treatment last month. I don't have one complaint! My teeth now look and feel wonderful. Our patient came to us stating how she didn't like her teeth sticking out. After a thorough evaluation, we recommended a non-extraction treatment plan that involved interproximal reduction and some elastics to fine-tune the bite.

Interproximal reduction involves slightly slimming of the teeth in order to create space. It is sometimes used as an alternative to extracting teeth if only a little bit of space is needed.

The end result is a balanced and aligned bite combining function with aesthetics.
