Established Dental practice in the Inner Sunset neighborhood has an opportunity for a new front office coordinator to join our team and deliver extraordinary care to our patients.
Our state-of-the-art and mostly paperless practice is whole-health oriented and our patients are very educated and sensitive when it comes to their dental care. We are very fortunate to have a team already where everyone genuinely likes each other and will go out of their way to help teammates, our patients, and our doctors. As a result, this job is a special position for someone who already has skills and desire to provide the "wow" patient experience and can become a true asset to our team: your smile and positive attitude need to radiate through your entire being.
The successful candidate needs to have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, a friendly smile, desire to learn, and always willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
You will be responsible for administering the day-to-day activities of the office, including to meet and greet every patient, maintaining of the records, scheduling of patients, maintaining appearance and order of the office, presenting financial treatment plan options and collection of co-payments. Our patients love us and we want them to love you from day one. Willing to train the right candidate.
You are expected to :
Communicate in a professional and friendly way
Practice top telephone skills (you will be tested)
Meet and greet every patient and schedule their next appointment before they leave
Calculate and collect co-payments
Ensure accurate data entry
An ability or willingness to learn to assist in the back office as needed
Experience in a front office (or retail , hospitality , customer service , receptionist, dental assistant , patient relations) is a big plus
Become a team player and quickly adapt to office policy and improvements (we are constantly striving for improved customer service/ care)
Conflict resolution experience. We like to get along, and we love our patients and our team. It is great when a potential problem can be spotted and resolved before it becomes an issue.
Learn other duties as assigned
Be detail Oriented, honest and demonstrate integrity.
Having knowledge of dental terminology is a plus

Must have a strong interest in working in healthcare/ dental office setting.
Days and time are as follows:
8:30AM - 5:00PM Monday - Thursday,
9:00AM - 3:30PM Friday
32-40hrs/ week, mostly working at the front office, but willing to help out wherever help is needed. Flexibility in schedule and personality is very important, as some days we may need to start early and finish later than set hours
The pay will be based on your experience and will be competitive in the market.
