We are deeply saddened to announce the recent passing of our team member, Erma. She succumbed to a valiant battle with Lymphoma and is survived by loving family, friends and countless patients.
Erma worked in this practice for over 40 years, as a dental assistant, appointment coordinator, financial coordinator and office manager. She was the only team member that had served with all three of its primary orthodontists, as she cared for thousands of patients and families. A constant fixture in this practice, she was known for her infectious smile, positive attitude and endless energy.
Erma was a mother of four and kick-boxing instructor, in addition to her practice duties. Her often “super-human” efforts will be missed by all and remembered forever.
We honor her by living life to its fullest and caring for others like she did, one big family…

The best thing we do is cherishing the relationships we make, not only with all our patients, but the doctors we work with. One example is Dr. Douglas Nakamoto. I’ve known him since I was 11 years old in middle school in San Francisco! Over 50 years later, we still practice near in each other in Daly City… which just makes me smile :)

To all our patients and families,

The situation is rapidly changing regarding Covid-19 here in California. "The California Dental Association strongly recommends that dentists practicing in California voluntarily suspend nonessential or non-urgent dental care for the next 14 days. As always, it is expected that dentists will continue to be available as needed for emergency care and services."

This will be done out of great care and concern for you who are our patients that we consider to be like members of our own family. So if your appointment is in the next 2 weeks, we'll be reaching out via phone, email, text, or pony express(!) to reschedule your appointment until April. We will weather this storm together!
