al equipment to deliver my treatment in a familiar and comfortable environment. (Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice), is a fairly new category of a health professional passed through California law that allows Dental Hygienists’ with advanced training to provide specific preventive procedures to the underserved population outside of a traditional dental office. I have over 19 years of experience in private practice as a dental hygienist and hold two California State Licenses, one of which required post-graduate specialized training for physically/mentally disabled and frail elderly individuals.
