What if you could test-drive your new smile before treatment even begins?

This patient came to my studio for a smile consultation with expectations, questions, and understandably, some uncertainty.

We talked about what he wanted to accomplish, I showed him his smile design digitally, and then we took it one step further — an Emotional Mock-Up directly in his mouth.

The smile you see in this video is the mock-up. Nothing has been done to his teeth yet.

Seeing it is one thing. Experiencing it on your own face is completely different.

That moment gave him the confidence and reassurance he needed to move forward with treatment.

Today I’m here in San Diego at Scripps Rock Dental with Dr. Tony Hatch, working together on a 24-unit smile transformation.

This has always been one of my favorite offices to work in — incredible energy, a rock & roll vibe, and a team that makes these big Same-Day Smile cases fun.

Sometimes I don’t have to be in the operatory to be part of the case.

Dr. Bullard in Georgia needed a lower arch designed, but our schedules didn’t allow me to be there in person. So instead, he sent me the case digitally.

I designed the restorations here at CADsmiles, and once completed, the files go right back to his office so his team can mill them on-site.

For offices already equipped with CAD/CAM technology, this is another option — access to an experienced smile designer while keeping the manufacturing workflow in your own office.

Different location. Same collaboration. Same attention to the smile.

This #6–11 case combines three individual restorations with a three-unit bridge, designed digitally, printed, and transformed into LiSi Press restorations.

Digital technology gives us the precision. Pressed ceramics give us the esthetics, strength, and character we’re looking for.

Some professional relationships become friendships. This is one of them.

Dr. Terry Alford and I have been working together in Bradenton, Florida for 14 years. Four times a year, I travel to his office to work side-by-side with him and his team creating Same-Day Smiles.

Over all those years, we’ve created a lot of smiles—but we’ve also built something much more important: trust, respect, and a great friendship.

In this video, Terry talks about the value of having someone with my experience right there in the operatory. For me, that collaboration is what Same-Day Smiles has always been about.

I’m not simply a laboratory sending restorations back to an office. I’m there. I meet the patient. I listen. I work alongside the doctor. And together, we make the decisions that bring that smile to life.

After 14 years, I’m incredibly grateful not only for the professional relationship Terry and I have built, but for the friendship that came with it.
