30+ years of experience, advanced training from UCLA, and a passion for the cases most offices won't touch 🤯 That's Dr. Miguel Grillo, DMD.

Dr. Grillo is a Maxillofacial Prosthodontist and one of the specialists we're proud to have on our team here at DNTL. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh, completed advanced prosthodontic training at UCLA and the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center, and holds a certificate in Maxillofacial Prosthetic Rehabilitation from UCLA.

He's taught at UCLA, lectured at conferences across the country, and is a member of both the American College of Prosthodontists and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Implants, full-mouth reconstruction, cosmetic rehabilitation, cases other offices couldn't take on. Dr. Grillo has seen it all, and that experience is something our patients get to benefit from every day! 🙌

Meet Dr. Michael Lum đź‘‹ One of the specialists helping patients get their confidence back at DNTL.

Dr. Lum grew up in the Bay Area, earned his degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UC San Diego, and even spent time working in biotech before making the leap into dentistry 🦷

From there, he went on to dental school at UCLA, a three-year specialty program in advanced prosthodontics and implant dentistry, and a fellowship in maxillofacial prosthetics at UCLA Medical Center. That's years of additional training beyond dental school, all focused on complex restorative and implant cases.

Today, he brings that level of expertise to our patients right here in San Diego! He also serves as a clinical instructor at UCLA, stays active in research and publishing, lectures nationally, and is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists đź“š

We’re excited to reveal our new office! 4 years in the making and we can’t wait to share with everyone all the new things we have in store. We’ve also added new providers, including two amazing Periodontists, Drs. Weatherington and Breziner! We’ve incorporated new AI smile design technology, a photo studio, new digital scanner and printing capabilities but we still offer the same great service and philosophy.
