(No pre ops or immediate post ops available due to switching radiology software 14 years ago). It doesn’t take long for bone to be destroyed due to acute apical abscess, but it takes time and patience for large lesions to remodel and grow bone. This huge infection destroyed the buccal cortical plate and a lot of apical bone. While large lesions can take longer to heal, they still can heal. This case was a 1-year recall where healing was incomplete, but the buccal cortical pate had already been re-established and apical bone was on its way. Patient was asymptomatic and happy. We’ll see it at the 2-year mark! Single-visit Endo with
