Habits Secretly Damaging Your Teeth 🦷

You might be harming your teeth without even realizing it.

• Brushing too hard
Can wear down enamel and irritate gums.

• Chewing ice
Tiny cracks today can become major fractures later.

• Nail biting
Adds pressure to teeth and may affect alignment.

• Skipping flossing
Your toothbrush can’t clean everything.

• Drinking coffee slowly for hours
Longer exposure = more staining and acid damage.

• Using your teeth as tools
Packages are not worth a chipped tooth.

• Grinding your teeth during sleep
Can slowly wear teeth down over time.

• Sleeping without brushing
Bacteria stays on your teeth all night.

Small habits create big dental problems over time.

Which one are you guilty of? 👀

🌸 Out with the old habits… in with a healthier smile

This spring, it’s time to break up with the habits that are secretly ruining your teeth:

🚫 Biting your nails
→ Can chip your teeth and stress your jaw

🚫 Using your teeth as tools (opening packages 😬)
→ Leads to cracks and serious damage

🚫 Skipping floss
→ Brushing alone cleans only 60% of your teeth

🚫 Brushing too hard
→ Damages enamel + causes gum recession

🚫 Late-night snacking without brushing
→ Feeds bacteria while you sleep 🦠

✨ Small changes = BIG difference in your smile

🦷 What Your Tongue Says About Your Oral Health

Your tongue isn’t just for taste, it can reveal a lot about what’s happening in your mouth (and even your overall health 👀).

Pink & smooth
Healthy and normal. This is what we want to see!

White coating
Could mean plaque buildup, dry mouth, or poor oral hygiene. Sometimes linked to fungal issues like Oral Thrush.

Bright red (“strawberry” tongue)
May indicate vitamin deficiencies (like B12) or irritation.
Yellowish tone
Often caused by bacteria buildup or smoking.

Cracked tongue
Usually harmless, but food can get trapped—so extra cleaning is important.

Hairy-looking tongue
Caused by buildup of keratin and bacteria. Looks scary, but it’s usually not serious and can be managed with proper cleaning.

✨ Pro Tip:

Don’t forget to gently clean your tongue daily, it helps reduce bacteria and improves breath instantly.
