So Iām an esthetician with type A personality and ADHD and I have to keep my space organized for my own sanity. š
Iāve had a lot of people ask what my backbar setup looks like, and honestly, itās built around one thing:
everything needs a purpose, a place, and a label.
If something doesnāt belong, it starts to feel like clutter fast. And when my space feels cluttered, my brain does too. So I set things up in a way that makes my treatment room easier to work in day to day.
Iām not worried about making it look perfectly styled. I need it to be functional. Easy to reach. Easy to reset. Easy to keep up with in the middle of a busy day.
That means labeled sections, clear organization, and a backbar that works with me instead of stressing me out.
If youāre an Estie with ADHD, give yourself permission to setup your space in whatever way helps you show up best for your clients.
Iāve been asked to show it, so hereās mineš«¶
