The Tooth Fairy paid another visit to Dr. Pelekanos’ daughter this week! 🦷✨
One of the most common questions we hear from parents is, “Is it normal for my child to lose teeth this early… or this late?”
While every child develops at their own pace, here’s a general timeline for tooth exfoliation:
🦷 Lower central incisors: 6–7 years
🦷 Upper central incisors: 6–8 years
🦷 Lateral incisors: 7–8 years
🦷 First molars: 9–11 years
🦷 Canines: 9–12 years
🦷 Second molars: 10–12 years
Remember, these ages are simply guidelines. Some children are early bloomers, while others take a little more time—and both can be completely normal.
