ganizations as well as provided free dental screenings and treatments for disadvantaged children. To ensure the residents of San Antonio and its surrounding communities continued to receive first-rate dental care, Dr. Furst welcomed Dr. Hiren Patel to the team, who now serves as the lead dentist for HIC Dental-Implant & Family Dentistry. Committed to the values of honesty, integrity, and compassion, Dr. Patel brings a wealth of knowledge and advanced skills to our dental office. Graduating from the Government Dental College & Hospital in Ahmedabad, India, in 2006, he initially began his journey in the field of dentistry working as a dental assistant in New York City for three years. After graduating from dental school at the University of Colorado in 2011, he went on to practice general dentistry and is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and he has Fellowship Status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. To achieve this designation, he had to complete 100 hours of continuing education dedicated to implant dentistry as well as present 20 successful cases of dental implant placement and restoration to the organization. Dr. Patel’s experience in dentistry includes, but is not limited to, root canals, extractions, dental implants, restorative dentistry, and cosmetic services. This allows him to provide comprehensive dental care all under one roof so patients can remain in one convenient location.
