🦷✨ Good results are worth waiting for!

While it can be tempting to want to see results overnight, slow and steady movement helps create a healthy, stable smile that lasts.

Trust the process, be patient, and keep up with your appointments and orthodontic care—your smile is worth it! 💙

⛑️ Last week, our whole team got together for CPR training, administrative training, and additional orthodontic training so we can continue to better serve our patients! 🦷💙

We’re always learning new things and growing together—and after our CPR training, we know we’d feel pretty safe with this team in an emergency! 🙌🏼

✨ Meet Dr. Nick Hwang! 🦷
We’re excited to welcome Dr. Nick Hwang to Mercer Island Orthodontics and Orthodontics on the Plateau this fall while Dr. Lauren is home with her newest addition!

Dr. Nick grew up in Arcadia, California, and speaks fluent Mandarin. He studied biology at UC Santa Barbara, earned his dental degree from UCSF, and completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Connecticut, where he also earned a Master of Dental Science studying clear aligners.

He loves treating patients of all ages and works with both traditional braces and clear aligners. 😁

When he’s not creating beautiful smiles, you’ll find Dr. Nick drawing, swimming, practicing yoga, searching for a great meal, or planning his next adventure. He’s also hoping to learn how to scuba dive while in the Pacific Northwest! 🌊🤿

Dr. Nick is looking forward to meeting our patients and families this fall. Be sure to say hello when you see him in the office! 👋
