We provide whole body approach to oral care for healthy and special needs children and adolescence, helping them master dental experiences. They are right.

We also specialize in oral tissue restrictions and restoring their natural function. Plateau Dentistry for Children is a children's dental office located on the Sammamish Plateau in the Pine Lake III Plaza Shopping Center. Our office is fun for kids and convenient for parents. Patients can play video games while they are in the waiting room and watch movies during their dental appointments. Our cl

inical staff is kid-friendly and our front office staff is professional and knowledgeable. We are happy to be accepting new patients and we are "in network" with Premera, Regence, and Delta Dental of Washington. For patients who are anxious or unable to cooperate for conventional dental treatment we offer nitrous oxide sedation and in-office general anesthesia. We strive to provide the care you would give your child if you were a dentist: dedicated, expert, informed, and compassionate treatment in a warm, friendly setting. Out entire staff strives to make sure that each and every patient - along with each and every parent - has the best dental experience possible. Our staff is trained to make sure that your children feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable before their dental exams begin. Most importantly, we use fun and effective methods to instruct your child in proper oral hygiene, establishing the groundwork for good dental habits that will last a lifetime. Our waiting area is comfortable for grown-ups, too. Additional conveniences include easy access, free guest Wi-Fi, plenty of free parking; a central location on the Plateau at the Pine Lake III Shopping Center; and clinic forms that are available online to accommodate busy parent schedules.

Ortho debonding shows all the non-ideal white hypo-mineralization spots on your front teeth?
Not only the white spots are not aesthetic but if left alone, these white spots can progress to a darker color and an eventual fracture of the remaining unsupported enamel rods and become cavities (holes).
If we catch it early enough, this conservative treatment of resin infiltration that requires no numbing, no drilling, and no filling can be a wonderful option. It does requires time, patience, and some faith 😁.

Nasal Hygiene is key during cold/flu season. Dr. Amelia shared her night time routine w/ her youngest.
Saline rinse with distilled warm solution.
Azalea is now 9 yo and is able to do this on her own. But it started with Dr. Amelia doing it for her (and her other kids), anytime they start showing a possible runny nose.
Nighttime sinus rinses will also clears up and moisturize nasal passage to prepare for nighttime nose breathing.

There are 2 types of crowns we offer: White Zirconia and Silver Stainless Steel. There are pro and con for each option. In this particular case, due to age, locations, habits, and stage of teeth development, we kept white crowns in front and silver stainless steel crowns in the back.

Welcoming the newest addition to our team,💙💙 baby Henry!! 💙💙
Dr. Ellie's baby has arrived. Mom and baby are doing well and resting.
Dr. Ellie will be on maternity leave until mid November. Dr. Amelia and Dr. Karen Yee-Lo will be covering clinic in her absence.
We are so in love with this precious bundle of joy. Thank you our patients and families for being extra flexible. 🙏🥰💙
