Please welcome Dr. Aashish to our practice as our full-time general dentist!
Born in the mountain country of Nepal and shaped by my years as a Mountaineer at West Virginia University, I am proud to be part of the Mountain Dental family. Though I still live in Morgantown and make the drive in each day, I am grateful to serve this community and be a part of it.
I earned both my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees from West Virginia University. There, I was honored with awards in Periodontics, Dental Anesthesiology, and Global Dentistry. While these experiences strengthened my clinical skills, they also reinforced what matters most to me. Great dentistry begins with compassion.
To me, every patient is far more than a tooth, an X-ray, or a treatment plan. Every person who sits in my chair has a story, a family, concerns, fears, and hopes. I believe my responsibility goes beyond providing excellent dental care. I am here to listen, understand, and treat each person with the same kindness and respect I would want for my own family. My goal is for every patient to leave feeling heard and comfortable. I want you to know you were cared for as a person, not just a patient.
Outside the office, I live in Morgantown with my wife and a younger brother. I enjoy playing the guitar, flute, and keyboard. I also sing Eastern classical music and paint acrylic portraits, landscapes, and abstract art. Working with my hands through music and painting inspires my work in the office. To me, dentistry is just as much about artistry and connection as it is about science
