Rick Dawson, DDS You can find our office at the corner of Snow Hill Rd and Beaglin Park Dr in Salisbury. Dr. Dawson’s main priority is his patients.

Whether you need a routine cleaning or more extensive treatment,such as dental implant restorations,we are here to serve your smile and promote excellent oral health. Dr. Rick Dawson, a native of Salisbury, earned his undergraduate degree from West Virginia University in 1992. He continued his education at West Virginia University, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1996. Dr. Dawson returned to Salisbury in 1996 and there he began practicing in General Dentistry. In 2002 he opened his own Family Practice, welcoming patients of all ages. Dr. Dawson is dedicated to providing his patients with the newest advancements in dentistry while addressing his patient’s oral health needs and concerns. His modernized practice provides digital imaging, intra-oral imaging and the latest technologies in cavity and cancer detection. He also offers cosmetic procedures such as In Office Zoom Bleaching, Veneers and Bonding. He has a conservative and unhurried manner, which allows his patients to feel comfortable and always well informed.

For years this patient struggled with decayed, discolored, and broken teeth that affected both their oral health and confidence. After a comprehensive evaluation, Dr McCready was able to preserve and restore the lower teeth, while the upper teeth were replaced with a full arch of dental implants.

The result is a healthy, functional smile that looks natural and feels secure - along with a renewed sense of confidence.

Transformation Tuesday…

A combination of acid erosion and nighttime grinding led to shortened and decayed teeth that were no longer functional for the patient. Dr McCready and our team placed Porcelain crowns to strengthen the teeth, replace missing tooth structure, and give the patient a more youthful smile.

Who doesn’t love a good
before and after?
Today was an exciting day for our patient who is a survivor of squamous cell carcinoma of the throat and tonsils. Surgery and extensive radiation treatments to the head and neck region left the teeth in poor condition. Dr. McCready and our team used porcelain crowns to restore the teeth to their normal form and function.
Now the patient can eat and smile again for many years to come!

On Monday Dr. McCready went to New Creations Learning Center in Fruitland to demonstrate healthy dental hygiene habits to the 3 year old class. He had an extra special helper, his son Colton. The children enjoyed the visit from Dr. McCready and loved getting goodie bags with new tooth brushes, tooth paste and timers.
