Transformation Tuesday…

A combination of acid erosion and nighttime grinding led to shortened and decayed teeth that were no longer functional for the patient. Dr McCready and our team placed Porcelain crowns to strengthen the teeth, replace missing tooth structure, and give the patient a more youthful smile.

Who doesn’t love a good
before and after?
Today was an exciting day for our patient who is a survivor of squamous cell carcinoma of the throat and tonsils. Surgery and extensive radiation treatments to the head and neck region left the teeth in poor condition. Dr. McCready and our team used porcelain crowns to restore the teeth to their normal form and function.
Now the patient can eat and smile again for many years to come!

On Monday Dr. McCready went to New Creations Learning Center in Fruitland to demonstrate healthy dental hygiene habits to the 3 year old class. He had an extra special helper, his son Colton. The children enjoyed the visit from Dr. McCready and loved getting goodie bags with new tooth brushes, tooth paste and timers.

Dr. Rick Dawson and Dr. Bobby McCready along with dental assistants Grace, Natalie and Cherrelle participate In the Eastern Shore Mission of Mercy.
Dr. Dawson and his team are volunteering today at the free dental clinic, offering dental cleanings, extractions and fillings.
Todays efforts are to help many on the Eastern Shore who are unable to receive adequate or even basic dental care.

It is with devastated hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Pat. If you are or were a part of our dental family of patients, you knew Pat....and she knew you! Dr. Dawson has not worked a day without her, with her following him from Kay Ave., to Riverside Dr., to Snow Hill Rd., for 26 years. Pat had medical issues that complicated quickly and departed to her Heavenly Father in the early morning hours of December 2nd. She loved and was loved by so many of you, and together we will pick up the pieces.
