📣 Returning team member alert! I'm sure you may recognize her friendly face. Please join us in welcoming back Emmonie to our dental hygiene team. Here’s a bit about her:
Originally hailing from North Carolina, Emmonie’s family relocated to Kansas in 2010 due to military service, and she has embraced Kansas as her second home ever since. Coming from a large family with nine siblings and a plethora of nieces and nephews, she certainly knows how to keep busy! In her spare time, she loves to cook, explore new experiences, and travel. A fun tidbit about her: she once appeared on Good Morning America when she was in second grade!
Emmonie’s passion for dentistry sparked at just seven years old during her very first dental visit. The kindness, patience, and informative nature of the dental hygienist she met left a lasting impression on her, inspiring her throughout her career. She aims to embody those same qualities in every interaction with patients.
After graduating from Salina Tech’s Dental Assisting program in 2018, she returned to pursue her Dental Hygiene degree, which she completed in 2026. Throughout her journey, she worked as a Supra Scaler with New Horizons for several years, where she gained invaluable experience and forged meaningful connections with both patients and colleagues.
Now, Emmonie is thrilled to return to New Horizons as a Dental Hygienist. Her journey has been rewarding and transformative, and she eagerly anticipates reconnecting with familiar faces while also welcoming and caring for new patients.
