Drs. John & Jadilyn Grittner recently became owners of a growing family dental practice located in the beautiful Highland Park neighborhood of Saint Paul. Our team consists of 2 front desk staff, 3 hygienists, 3 assistants, and 2 doctors. We use Eaglesoft EHR, digital X-rays, and intraoral cameras. Schedule
Mondays-Thursdays 7am-3:30pm*
*Hours are negotiable but need to start at 7am. You get a 1/2 lunch paid.
Pay
$37-$39 per hour

· CE allowance equivalent of 1 day of pay (hourly wage x 8.5 hours)
3. Daily and monthly bonuses up to $410/month/employee.
4. 401k with automatic 3% matching eligible at 1 year of employment.

Responsibilitie
· Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
· Sterilize dental instruments properly
· Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
· Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
· Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
· Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
· Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
· Take X-rays or dental impressions
· Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer)
· Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
· Monitor supplies
Help out other departments when there is downtime.
Skills
· Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role
· In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
· Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
· Outstanding communication skills
· A patient and friendly personality
· Attention to detail
· Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
· Diploma in Dental Hygiene; Master’s is a plus
· Valid license to practice
· Experience in Eaglesoft is a plus.
