To our valued patients,

After much deliberation, our practice is making an important change - Effective January 1, 2024, we will be changing our relationship with Delta Dental's network. Over the last few years, it has become increasingly difficult to practice as in-network providers and continue to provide the high quality of care that we value and promise to our patients. We are unwilling to compromise our standard of excellence by cutting corners to conform to the restrictions that dental insurance plans place on their in-network providers. We have reached a point where we cannot offer the same high quality dentistry we value under their contracts. So, rather than lower the high standards that we have maintained since we have opened, we have chosen to eliminate our preferred status with Delta Dental.


What this means for you:


1) You can continue to be a patient in our practice, and we hope you do! We will still accept and bill your insurance as an out-of-network provider.�
2) You will be responsible for payment for procedures at the time of service.�
3) We will submit your dental insurance claims on your behalf, and Delta Dental will reimburse you directly within 7 - 10 business days. If you do not receive any reimbursement at 21 days, we would recommend you contact your dental provider.



To fully understand your specific dental plan's benefits and reimbursements, we encourage you to reach out to your human resources department for details. We are here to help you in whatever capacity we can, but Delta Dental does not share out-of-network plan benefits with us.

Please know this was a difficult decision for our practice to make, as we know this will directly affect many of you, some who have been with our practice for a long time. We had hoped to have this conversation with you in person, but we wanted to give you the courtesy of knowing prior to your appointment next year and during this time of insurance/HSA/FSA open enrollment.

We hope that the care you have received from us and the partnership that we have built as advocates for your oral health will encourage you to continue with our practice. However, if you choose to seek care from a new dentist, please let us know and we will help with the transition.

To our wonderful patients and their families,

We miss your children and their smiling faces! We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health in these difficult times. As an office of moms, we recognize the unprecedented impact COVID-19 has had on our children’s lives. We empathize with the changes and uncertainty they have faced-whether it be the day to day activities often taken for granted, like a trip to the park or a high-five from a friend at school, or a milestone like the prom or graduation. Like your family, our team has faced many challenges during the “safer at home” period and are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines.

While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your children’s dental health, safety, and overall well-being. We are gearing up to reopen in stages. In the initial phase, we will need to focus on those patients with emergent and urgent dental needs, such as those with existing treatment that had to be postponed or cancelled due to the crisis. During the first phase, it will also be necessary to see a reduced volume of patients on a daily basis, to comply with guidelines on social distancing and infection control from state and national agencies. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this process, and encourage you to reach out if you have any questions or concerns so we may do our best to accommodate you.

Our office will continue to adhere to state and national regulatory agencies’ up-to-date guidance on infection control. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient safe in our practice. As needed, we will send you more detailed information about our interim protocols and procedures for patient care during our phased reopening. To Our Valued Patients,

Due to the rapidly evolving COVID-19, we have made the tough decision to close our office for at least the next two weeks, March 16th - 27th. Out of respect for our patients, their families, our team members, and most importantly to help reduce the spread of the virus, we feel it necessary to close.

We will be calling all of our patients that are scheduled in the next two weeks to inform them personally. If your child is having a dental emergency, please call our office and you will be directed to either Dr. Maureen or Dr. Lisa. Thank you for your cooperation in this ever changing time and don't forget to wash your hands!
