OFFICE REOPENING MONDAY, JUNE 1ST
Dear patients of the Sonntag and Ruth, DDS dental practice,
We have been thinking of all our dental families and we hope you are well. Our staff has planned and trained for the re-opening of the office and the safe treatment of our patients.
Utilizing the most recent guidelines from the CDC, ADA, and MDA we have initiated changes to our office protocols to ensure the safety of our patients, dental office personnel, and the protection of overall community health. Some changes you will see include:
-Our staff will be asking you screening questions during the appointment confirmation phone calls. Please answer these calls or quickly return them so you can be properly screened. You will be asked these same questions AGAIN before your appointment starts along with a temperature check.
-When arriving for your appointment please stay in your car. We will call or text you when it is time for you to enter the building. We ask that you are not accompanied by other friends or family members. If this is not possible you MUST inform us prior to the appointment.
-We have strategically removed some seating from the waiting room. This will allow for proper social distancing between patients. Also, we will try our best not to have an overlap of patients while entering or exiting the office. Please be aware these implementations may lengthen your time commitment for each appointment and you may also have fewer options for scheduling a dental appointment.
- All patients MUST wear a mask or cloth face covering when entering the office and MUST cleanse their hands with alcohol-based hand sanitizer that will be provided at the entryway. Thank you! In addition, you will see all of the staff wearing masks and additional protective equipment during your visit. The increased personal protective equipment is required for us to safely treat all patients will result in some unavoidable increases to our fees.
-All office personnel will be covid-19 tested frequently. At this time the CDC guidelines do not require dental patients to be covid-19 tested. Our office hopes that in-office testing will become the standard of care and we will make every effort to pursue this possibility in the future.
These changes and others will continue to occur over the months. The health of our patients, office workers and the community are at the forefront of our efforts. Let’s all get our dental health back on tract. See you soon and God bless all of us.
Sincerely,
Dr. Robert Sonntag, Dr. Patrick Ruth, and our great staff
