Today, we’re celebrating four very special ladies who make a difference in the lives of our patients every single day!

Bridget, Susie, Maggi, and Sydni are dedicated dental healthcare professionals whose knowledge, clinical skills, and compassionate care are essential to our patients’ oral health.

From preventive care and periodontal assessments to diagnostic radiographs, oral cancer screenings, and patient education, their expertise plays an important role in helping our patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles.

Beyond their clinical skills, they build relationships, earn trust, and help our patients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for.

October is National Dental Hygiene Month, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by letting you hear from one of the people who does this important work every day. 💙

Our Hygiene Lead, Bridget, is talking about something women may not realize—the connection between hormonal changes and gum health.

During puberty, pregnancy, and menopause, changing hormone levels can make your gums more sensitive and reactive to plaque. That can show up as redness, swelling, tenderness, or bleeding—and sometimes those changes are your gums telling you they need a little extra attention.

Our hygienists spend their days watching for changes, educating our patients, answering questions, and helping catch problems early. They get to know you—and your mouth!—over the years and through different stages of life.

For the past five years, Taylor has been an important part of the JMDC family, serving our patients as a Patient Care Specialist. If you know Taylor, you know just how much she brings to our team.

She’s dependable, consistent, and someone you can count on to help keep things moving. She has a natural ability to connect with people, communicate with ease, and make patients feel comfortable and welcome. Our team recently traveled to Dallas for continuing education, hands-on learning, and the latest advancements in dentistry — bringing home a combined 190 hours of continuing education!
