Yesterday we had the privilege of helping a brave 3-year-old regain their healthy smile at the hospital under general anesthesia. Did you know some babies are born with teeth? They’re called natal teeth! While they can be surprising, they’re usually harmless. If a tooth is loose, causing discomfort during feeding, or irritating baby’s tongue, a pediatric dentist should take a look. Early evaluation helps keep both baby and parent comfortable and worry-free.

Recently, we safely removed one in our office to help this little guy feed more comfortably and prevent any aspiration.
