Covid 19 Update
We are OPEN!
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We did this to help protect our patients and staff. Here are some of those changes you will notice when you return.
Before your appointment you will receive a screening questionnaire. As soon as you arrive, please stay in your car and give us a call or text. We will check you in from inside. Once your room is ready, we will notify you to come inside. We will take your temperature using a no touch forehead thermometer before you go back. You are not required to wear a mask but may do so if that makes you feel more comfortable. You will also notice us wiping and spraying down surfaces more frequently. Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. We apologize in advance but that might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment. If possible, please refrain from bringing any visitors to your appointment. We can reduce contamination by cutting down on traffic in the office. The health and well being of our patients and employees is our top priority.
Please inform us ahead of time if you or any immediate family members have experienced any of the following symptoms like cough, fever, shortness of breath or sore throat Also let us know if you or anyone in your immediate family has travelled internationally or out of state in the last 2 weeks.
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we have taken to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends.
Sincerely,
Dr. Steven Bussell and Staff
