Check out this great article highlighting a multidisciplinary cosmetic case we did a while back. This case involves clear aligner therapy, digital planning, minimally invasive preparation, and feldspathic ceramic veneers.

It’s been a minute since we’ve posted... so we’re jumping back in with a complex full-arch implant reconstruction by Dr. Fredrick Lewcock. 😁🙌

This patient came to us with severely decayed, infected teeth and significant bone loss. Because the remaining teeth were not salvageable, they were removed, and implants were placed to rebuild a healthy foundation:

Lower jaw: dental implants placed by Dr. Frederick Lewcock
Upper jaw: due to a highly atrophic maxilla, placed pterygoid and zygomatic implants to support a stable, long-term result.

After integration, Dr. Lewcock delivered fixed implant-supported bridges, restoring chewing function, comfort, facial support, and smile aesthetics. Most importantly, removing the infection helped this patient move toward a dramatically healthier place overall.

The Art of Tissue Sculpting and Shade Matching 🎨🦷

Precision dentistry is both art and science. Here’s a case by Dr. Fredrick Lewcock demonstrating the meticulous care involved in achieving a seamless, natural blend when replacing anterior teeth.

This patient suffered a fall that fractured her front crowns and bridgework. One of the front teeth was unfortunately not restorable and required extraction.

The tooth was atraumatically extracted, and the fractured porcelain was removed. The adjacent teeth were then prepared for a four-unit porcelain bridge. A custom healing provisional was created at the time of extraction to shape the gingival tissue — gently extending into the socket to contour the future emergence profile.

After several weeks of healing, precise shade matching was performed using the eLab system, allowing an exact color blend with the patient’s existing porcelain restorations.

Once the tissue matured, the provisional was removed, revealing excellent soft-tissue architecture. Final impressions were sent to , whose artistry in natural shade layering and morphology brought the case to life.

The final bridge extended slightly into the healed socket, creating the illusion that the missing tooth naturally emerges from the tissue.

✨ The result — a beautifully lifelike restoration that returned harmony, balance, and confidence to the patient’s smile.
