✨ Functional Frenuloplasty ✨
One of my favorite things about dentistry is that we never stop learning.
Our technique continues to evolve as the science, mentorship, and clinical experience grow. This clinical example highlights an approach inspired by evolving functional and airway-focused philosophies, including the latest principles taught by the Breathe Institute, emphasizing:
• Tissue-preserving releases
• Precision surgical endpoints
• Selective suturing
• Function-first outcomes
• Support for optimal healing
Every patient’s anatomy and functional needs are unique, so treatment is individualized rather than one-size-fits-all. Rather than focusing on the largest possible release, our goal is to release the appropriate amount of tissue to create meaningful improvements in mobility and function while respecting anatomy and supporting comfortable healing.
Our commitment to optimal outcomes extends beyond the procedure itself. We incorporate a comprehensive aftercare approach that may include photobiomodulation, myofunctional support, and adjunctive supplements such as serrapeptase as part of an individualized plan to optimize healing and outcomes.
Thankful for the mentors who challenge us, the colleagues who inspire us, and the families who place their trust in us every day. Always learning. Always striving to provide the very best care.💗
