Getting a toddler to use a Myomunchee doesn’t always happen instantly. Sometimes it takes a little creativity, patience, and a lot of cheering!!😂 👏🏼 🩵

A few things that can help:

✨ Practice with a favorite toy or stuffed animal first. Pretend play can make something new feel more familiar.

✨ Praise the effort, even if it’s only a few seconds. “Great job!” and “You’re practicing!” go a long way.

✨ Count and cheer. Start with a few chews and make it fun: “Let’s count to five!”

✨ Try a small incentive, like choosing a sticker or favorite activity afterward. Encouragement, not pressure.

✨ Add a little flavor. My friend Katrina, an SLP and owner of Tryumph Speech Therapy, shared the idea of using a flavored xylitol oral spray with her 19-month-old and his Myomunchee. Choose an age-appropriate product and follow the directions.

Most importantly, keep it positive and stop if your toddler gets frustrated. We’re building comfort and consistency over time—not forcing perfection!

What helps your toddler try something new? 💫
