We have news!

We have re-opened!

We have received new interim guidance from the Illinois Department of Public Health. As of May 11, 2020, IDPH recommends that oral health providers resume provision of routine oral and dental care consistent with the interim guidance given for minimizing risk of transmission of COVID-19.

Safety of both patients and staff has always been a top priority. That philosophy hasn’t changed, but the measures upon which to ensure it have.

Staff will wear optimal protective gear, use hospital-grade disinfectants, and administer the latest sterilization protocols.

We have improved our office air filtration systems, HVE (High volume evacuation) systems and staggered appointment times to accommodate social distancing. Pre-appointment screening will include individual temperature readings, and a pre-procedural antiseptic mouth rinse.

Good morning, as an update to our last post March 22, 2020 in regards to Covid-19, our office will remain temporarily closed until further notice. As you all may know, Governor Pritzker has extended the Illinois stay-at-home order through April 30 as part of the state’s effort to slow the spread of the new coronavirus. We will continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 within our community and keep you up-to-date regarding our plans to reopen for business as usual. Notice of Temporary Office Closure – COVID – 19 Until April 07, 2020

To our dental family and friends at Smiles of Round Lake,

In an effort to support national efforts to fight the COVID – 19 pandemic, our practice is taking the following steps to help assure your health and well-being and that of our community.

We are following directives from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as a way to limit patient and staff exposure to this virus.
• Your health and the health of our dedicated staff, matters to us, so going forward we will suspend all non-emergency care until April 07, 2019.
• Patients will be seen only for urgent and emergency dental needs.
We will contact you soon to reschedule routine hygiene appointments. If you are already scheduled for an urgent issue, we will contact you before your appointment to discuss your health status, health screening protocols and confirm whether the appointment should be kept. Of course, please call us right away if you have a dental emergency or need immediate care. We will continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 nationally and within our community and keep you up-to-date regarding our plans to reopen for business as usual.

Pritzker recommendations to protect the health and safety of the public, we are cancelling all routine dental hygiene appointments that have been scheduled from Tuesday March 17th to Tuesday March 31st.
