🎉 32 years of Brandie! 🎉
Today we’re celebrating Brandie’s 32nd work anniversary! 💗
Pretty early on, Hanna and I started calling Brandie “Ma”, and there really isn’t a better way to describe the role she has taken on. Brandie cares about me not just as a coworker or boss, but the way a mom would. During my pregnancy, in between hustling from patient to patient, Brandie could regularly be found chasing me around the office with a water bottle and snacks making sure both Caden and I stayed healthy.
Brandie is so much more than an employee. She is a friend. She genuinely cares about me, my family, our patients, our team, and this office as if it were her own home.
And she cares in the quietest ways. It’s fresh cut flowers from her garden. It’s buying me pink Crocs when my feet grew two sizes during pregnancy and literally nothing else would fit. It’s washing the moldy coffee cup I accidentally left sitting out for way too long. It’s a hundred little things that she never expects recognition or a thank you for. She just sees a need and takes care of it.
That’s Brandie. She notices what people need before anyone else even realizes there is a need. If something needs done, Brandie is already doing it. If I need a volunteer, I know I can count on her to show up. If the office needs something, you better believe she’s shopping around to make sure we’re getting the best deal.
One of my very first impressions of Brandie was, “Wow… she is the definition of happy people wanting other people to be happy.”Brandie gives so much of herself to the people around her. She takes care of everyone, notices the little things, steps in without being asked, and makes life easier for all of us just by being Brandie.
The office is so incredibly lucky to have her the past 32 years, and I am especially lucky to get to call her Ma and friend.
