🎃👻 Halloween candy season is here, and we're all about keeping the treats sweet and the smiles healthy! 🍬🦷

Before you dive into that candy stash, here are a few SPOOK-tacular tips to keep cavities from crashing your Halloween fun!

🍫 Choose chocolate! It washes away more easily than sticky candies.

🍭 Beware of sticky and hard candies! They can cling to teeth or even cause chips and cracks.

🍋 Watch out for sour sweets! Their high acidity can be tough on tooth enamel.

💧 Sip water after enjoying your treats, and don't forget to brush and floss!

A little candy is part of the Halloween fun, just don't let those sneaky sugar monsters haunt your smile!

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a month to honor, support, and stand together.

We celebrate the strength of survivors, remember those we have lost, and send love and encouragement to everyone currently facing breast cancer and the families walking beside them.

This month is also an important reminder to prioritize your health. Know your normal, talk with your healthcare provider about recommended screenings, and don’t put off your mammogram when it’s due.

Together, we wear pink and stand in support.

🫧😁 Pop, chew, smile! It’s National Chewing Gum Day!

Here’s something worth chewing on: choosing sugar-free gum, especially gum with xylitol, can help increase saliva flow and reduce cavity-causing bacteria.

Just remember… gum is a great sidekick, but it can’t replace brushing and flossing! Happy chewing!

September is Baby Safety Month and keeping little ones safe and healthy includes caring for those tiny smiles, even before the first tooth arrives!

A few simple reminders for parents:

🦷 Gently clean baby’s gums after feedings
🪥 Use the right amount of fluoride toothpaste once teeth appear
🍼 Never put baby to bed with a bottle
🥄 Avoid sharing spoons or testing food with your mouth, which can transfer cavity-causing bacteria
😁 Plan baby’s first dental visit by their first birthday

Healthy habits can start from the very beginning and help set the stage for a lifetime of beautiful smiles!
