NURSERY LABORER
Spring Creek Nursery is a wholesale nursery serving landscape contractors, architects, and environmental designers with locations in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Rogers, Arkansas. The Rogers Arkansas location is seeking to fill a Nursery Labor position.
Job Summary:
The Nursery Laborer position is responsible for the upkeep of the plants and Nursery. Assists loading and unloading of trucks.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Duties/Responsibilities:
Load trucks for deliveries with help from loaders.
Assist in the off- loading of materials to customers, observing if material is damaged during delivery or by customer, should that happen. Report back any discrepancies back to nursery when any issues arise.
Assess equipment needs for repair or routine servicing. (Oil, tires, gas, repairs, etc.)
Store equipment properly for the next user. (Park loaders, trucks, keys stored, etc.)
Maintain clean and safe working environment including but not limited to building and equipment. (Inside of trucks remain clutter and trash free)
Load and unload delivery trucks for deliveries to customers and deliveries to nursery.
Demonstrate an understanding of time-keeping systems by correctly clocking in and out, getting loaded, deliveries unloaded. (Sense of urgency)
Consistent and reliable attendance is mandatory.
Moving bags of soil, mulch, watering, cleanliness of greenhouses and grounds.
Performs other duties as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong communication skills and great attitude toward customers and co-workers.
Expected to work outside in all kinds of weather and must have suitable clothing.
Regularly required to stand and sit for long periods of time, bend, reach and move about.
Must be able to operate all equipment. (Trucks, skid loaders, donkey, etc.)
A sense of urgency is an essential function of this position.
Ability to perform basic math skills.
Ability to work efficiently and in a cohesive team atmosphere with all areas.
Must be able to work in a safety aware environment.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Must be able to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.

We are seeking an Inside Sales to join our team. As an Inside Sales , you will be responsible for helping customers over the phone, check out, load up and answer general questions on location and information on material. Your primary goal will be to build strong relationships with custom and help build a strong team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct warm and help answers to customers in person and on phone.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate materials
- Provide accurate information about material, pricing, and availability
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- Collaborate with the team to meet customer needs and improve overall customer experience -.
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport over the phone
- Good written and verbal
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with quickbooks and computers in general a plus
- Strong inside sales skills
