A behind-the-scenes look at Dr. Scotty Bolding preparing for TMJ arthroplasty! 🫧👨‍⚕️

In this video, Dr. Bolding explains how he’ll treat a patient experiencing jaw joint pain following an injury that damaged ligaments within the TMJ.

Through a small incision, he’ll reposition the joint’s disc and use a small anchor to help secure the repair. The goal? Reduce pain and restore more comfortable jaw movement and function.

🌙 Sleep apnea is more than disrupted sleep—it can have a significant impact on your overall health and quality of life.

😴 Obstructive sleep apnea occurs when the airway repeatedly becomes blocked during sleep, causing breathing to stop and restart throughout the night. Over time, untreated sleep apnea may contribute to daytime fatigue, difficulty concentrating, high blood pressure, cardiovascular concerns, and other health issues.

⚠️ Loud snoring, waking up gasping or choking, morning headaches, and excessive daytime sleepiness can all be signs that it’s time for an evaluation.
