There’s something special about being able to serve the same community that helped shape you.

Ms. Sandra Farmer was one of Dr. Alexis’ elementary school teachers at D.S. Johnson Elementary, and she remembers Alexis as a student who always gave her best, worked hard, and even helped teach the students around her while she was still learning herself.

Rocky Mount has been part of Dr. Alexis’ story from the very beginning, and it means so much for her to now give back by caring for children and families in the community that helped make her who she is today.
