I make sure to create a stress-free experience from your first “hello” to scheduling your next visit with ease!

I enjoy my time off with my husband and kiddos, creating memories together. We love watching movies 🍿, exploring new travel destinations ✈️, shopping 🛍️, and simply relaxing and recharging🔋

It’s true. Folding a fitted sheet is somehow less stressful than the nightly toothbrushing battle 😅

If your bathroom turns into a wrestling ring every night at 8:00 PM, you are definitely not alone! Before you give up and let the Cavity Creeps win, try these 4 dentist-approved hacks to make brushing a breeze:

🎵 Turn it into a dance party: Find a 2-minute “brushing song” on YouTube or Spotify and make it a rule that the brushing stops only when the music does.

🦖 Let them brush YOUR teeth first: Toddlers love control. Let them “clean” your teeth (or a stuffed animal’s teeth) first, then swap!

🪄 The “Sugar Bug” hunt: Make it a game. Tell them you’re looking for the hidden “sugar bugs” from dinner. “Oh wait, I think I see a purple unicorn bug on your back molar! Let me get it!”

🪥 The power of choice: Take them to the store and let them pick out their own toothbrush and toothpaste flavor. Watermelon or bubblegum flavor beats mint for most kids every single time.

Remember, consistency is key! (And hey, if all else fails, at least bringing them to see us is easy. 😉)

Get to Know Us Wednesday: Meet Heather! 🦷

Heather is one of our amazing Patient Coordinators and has been working in pediatric dentistry for 15 years! Her passion is creating a calm, comfortable, and positive experience for every child and family from the very first hello to the final smile 😊

When she’s not in the office, Heather loves traveling, shopping, and spending time with her husband and daughters. Most weekends, you’ll find her at the soccer field cheering on her girls and soaking up every moment!

We’re so lucky to have Heather as part of the Happy Harbor crew 💙
