Every year on May 28, National Brisket Day celebrates one of the nine prime cuts of beef. Today presents opportunity to enjoy a delicious cut of beef in a variety of ways. Just makes sure to cook it slow & long.
Brisket comes from the breast or lower chest of beef or veal and when prepared correctly, renders both flavor and tenderness. Brisket is a tough and relatively inexpensive cut of meat and requires some patience to cook in order to reach maximum tenderness.
