After 22 years of working as a dentist and paying my student loans I still owe $217,000. The student loan crisis in this country is out of hand. There is no cap on how much interest upon interest they can charge you. One of my loans which was $150,000 in 2004 was charged $167,000 in interest and blew up to over $300,000 - I had a high interest rate for a very long time and 5 years ago I refinanced at a lower rate, which made it a private loan and now doesn’t qualify for any forgiveness or other relief. Yet the balance is going down very slowly most of the the $2200 I pay each month goes to interest!!! Future generations and new dentists are even in more debt!

Dear Patients in the past year or so we have had trouble finding good candidates for front office and have had many changes in staff.
