Dear Heritage Oak Dental family of patients:

As you are aware by now, COVID-19 has become a growing concern in our community and our nation. There has been much discussion around how to stop the spread of the virus so that we don’t reach devastating levels like many other countries before us. We at Heritage Oak Dental take infection control extremely serious and take pride in exceeding standard sterilization practices, but we recognize that this virus is extremely contagious and the route of transmission is particularly concerning in the dental office.

For the safety of our patients and your loved ones, we have made the difficult decision to limit our practice to emergencies only for the next few weeks, at which point we will reassess the severity of the situation and proceed accordingly. This follows the recommendation issued yesterday by the American Dental Association and guidance offered by state and local officials. We recognize our important role as health care providers to help eliminate the spread of this dangerous virus.
