Dr. Jude Crutchfield, DMD
I am very excited to be a part of this wonderful team and have the opportunity to work in Roseville. I feel very fortunate to create a practice with a partner whose treatment philosophy is so similar to my own. I received my bachelor degree from the University of Utah, attended Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine where I received a DMD, and then contin
ued on to receive a Pediatric Dental Specialty certificate from Temple University. While in dental school I had the opportunity to help form a non-profit dental humanitarian organization and travel around the world. During these dental mission trips I was able to treat many children. It was then that I learned how much I enjoy working with kids and being a part of their dental experience. Because of this, I was fortunate enough to further my dental education by specializing in the treatment of children and adolescents. My wife, Rachel, and I have been married nearly 20 years, and are proud parents of three young children: Ivy, Lane and Scarlett. Spending time with my family, mountain biking, playing volleyball, camping and snowboarding are all things I enjoy. I am excited to grow as part of the community. I look forward to many years of snowboarding in Tahoe, camping, involvement in local sporting events with my kids, and getting to know you and your children! Thank you for choosing our team as your children’s dental home! I am excited to build positive and lasting relationships with our patients and their families in the Roseville community over the years to come. Early dental experiences are the foundation for a lifetime of good oral health and should be made as fun and easy as possible. My primary goal is to help families prevent dental disease by promoting good habits that can begin at home. As a father myself, I understand the dedication that parents have to ensure the well-being of their family. My personal philosophy is to treat every patient as I would my own. I pride myself in providing the highest quality treatment available for my patients while making the experience as enjoyable as possible. Children should look forward to their dental appointments and I am devoted to ensuring a lifetime of healthy, happy smiles for all of my patients. In order to provide optimal care for my patients I maintain the highest levels of accreditation and continuing education in the field of pediatric dentistry. My training began at the University of Oregon where I received a bachelor’s degree in Human Physiology. I then moved to the Bay Area where I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Pacific Arthur A Dugoni School of Dentistry. Following dental school I completed my first hospital-based residency program at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY. I then moved home to Portland, OR where I completed a specialty residency program in pediatric dentistry at Oregon Health and Science University. I am also an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. When I am not caring for patients I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife and son truly are my pride and joy. Together we love to explore and adventure. California has so many amazing outdoor activities. Skiing, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, swimming in the lakes, rivers and ocean. Not to mention great cities too. I can’t believe my good fortune. This area offers everything that I loved about growing up in Portland, Oregon. Over the last decade work and education have moved us all over this country. San Francisco, New York, Portland, Austin, and even rural Wisconsin. It has been a wonderful adventure, but we couldn’t be more thrilled to put down roots here in the foothills of the Sierras!
