When life throws a curveball (or a car into the building 😳), kindness shows up. 🍩
Monday was a little unexpected at our Rock Hill office. One of our wonderful patients saw everything happen, and instead of just going on with her day, she showed up with a box of doughnuts for our team.
Her words said it all: you deserve a donut. And honestly? We did. 😅

Yesterday was a Monday for sure. It had some Monday hiccups but it ended with a bang, LITERALLY! A car crashed into our waiting area after hours! Thankfully- no one was hurt but excuse our appearance until this is resolved. We will be open as usual today

5 things this dentist mom actually does 🦷🏡
(Spoiler: candy-free house is not one of them 😂 chocolate is in every photo I own)
1️⃣ Brushing at night = non-negotiable. Saliva drops while we sleep, giving bacteria all night to attack enamel unprotected.
2️⃣ Nothing sticky 3 hrs before bed — vitamin gummies included.
3️⃣ I watch for crowded baby teeth. Catching it by age 7 (the AAPD’s recommended orthodontic check age) makes fixes way easier down the road.
4️⃣ I pay attention to how they sleep, not just how they brush. Snoring, mouth breathing, grinding — research links these to a 40-60% higher risk of hyperactivity/attention issues. Sometimes a “focus problem” is really an airway problem.
5️⃣ They still get real cleanings and X-rays. No dentist-kid discount here 😄
Cake batter, chaos, and all — it’s about small habits, not perfection.
