Congratulations on five years with Celestial Dental, Hannah! π₯³π
Her journey with us began during the pandemic after she came across Dr. Cβs post in the Henrietta Highlights Facebook group. Immediately impressed by her curiosity after shadowing him, Dr. C offered her a position as a dental assistant. While our practice was young, Hannah frequently worked through lunches and stayed late after work (past 8pm sometimes!) to ensure patients were taken care of. Emergency dentistry never phased her, and managing anxious patients seemed to come naturally.
In 2021, Hannah took a year-long leave to pursue her Masterβs degree in Oral Health Sciences in Boston, where she continued to develop her clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills. After returning home to Rochester, she earned her dental assisting license and completed extensive advanced training under Dr. C, becoming an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA). This advanced certification allows her to provide an even higher level of care by performing certain restorative procedures, such as placing fillings, under Dr. Cβs supervision.
Hannahβs passion for learning has never stopped. She has received advanced training in digital dentistry, including designing bite splints, creating smile mockups, planning surgical guides for dental implants, and designing and fabricating same-day crowns. Her commitment to her training has taken her across North America at several academies, including CDOCS and The MOD Institute , making her a top tier asset to the practice.
While we are incredibly proud of Hannahβs clinical expertise, it is her unwavering commitment to our patients and our team that truly makes her one of a kind. We are grateful to have you as part of the Celestial Dental family. Cheers to five years, Hannah!πΎ
