Our keynote speaker will be Tim Sandvik, who will present the “State of the City.” Tim will provide a look back at recent city developments and discuss the next steps for the City of Robbinsdale. Through the lens of Administration, Community Development, Engineering, Finance, and Public Safety, he will highlight the city’s successes, areas of opportunity, and future outlook.

Tim joined the City of Robbinsdale in 2022 and brings more than 20 years of local government experience, including previous roles with the cities of Vadnais Heights, Falcon Heights, Brooklyn Park, and New Brighton.

Our spotlight speaker will be Matt Bazyk. Matt will discuss the City’s ongoing Pedestrian and Bicycle Plan update, which has been underway since 2024. Part of the plan includes potential artistic enhancements to Downtown Robbinsdale crosswalks, and Matt will share ideas on how these improvements could be implemented in the community.

A message from Whiz Bang Days

Greetings from the Robbinsdale Whiz Bang Days Committee!

Warm weather and longer days are on the horizon, which can only mean one thing—Whiz Bang Days is almost here! Our committee has been working hard all year to plan and bring back the 78th Annual Whiz Bang Days this summer, and we need your help to make it a success.

Whiz Bang Days has a rich tradition in our community, made possible through the generous support and donations of local Robbinsdale businesses like yours. Classic events such as the parade, Kids Market, and fireworks will return this year, along with exciting activities including Movie in the Park and the Robbinsdale City Band Concert. Our committee, volunteers, local businesses, and vendors take great pride in hosting these events, which bring our community together and provide entertainment for all ages.

Beyond the activities themselves, the continued success of Whiz Bang Days depends on the financial support of our business community. We hope you will consider supporting what we proudly call the best weekend of the summer. We continually refine our sponsorship opportunities to offer meaningful exposure and a direct connection to our celebration's success.
