The longest lasting and most trusted type of over-denture (snap-on denture) is a bar over denture.

The bar splints implants together providing shared stress relief and protection for the implants. Furthermore it allows for angled implants to engage the best bone for the best possible outcome.

Bar overdentures are a technique sensitive procedure that require extreme attention to detail and precision, however if done well can provide patients with incredible esthetics and chewing ability.

This specific case was challenging due to the skeletal crossbite and compromised bone from periodontal disease. Thank you to Marshall Green at Mountain State Oral & Facial Surgery for his perfect implant placement making this case a slam dunk.

Another complex case well done!

The patient was referred from West Virginia by his general dentist for having all of his teeth removed for dentures as the patient had cavities on most of his teeth.

After taking a thorough history we found that his cavities were caused by failing old restorations and a candy sucking habit.

I told the patient that if he gives up his hard candies and we cover all of the large old failing restorations we could save his all of his teeth.

In the end for the sake of cost the patient ended up going with an upper bar over denture (the safest and longest lasting type of snap on denture) and a traditional crowns on all of his lower teeth.

The artistry and precision needed to make the two line and match perfectly are what’s at display here.

The patient was more than ecstatic.

This is a case from a couple years ago. The patient presented with deteriorating veneers from 30 years ago.

Revision cases are always challenging as the goal is to stay minimally invasive while working with what remains.

This case was a flawless example of achieving and strong and esthetic results in the presence of challenging conditions.

It was an honor to take lead on this complex case. A sweet 45 yo female lost her teeth to side effects from gastric bypass surgery. She suffered for years from poorly made dentures as she was told she had no bone for implants

This was another complex rehabilitation for a patient that had been afraid to leave the house for over a decade due to her smile.
