Happy National Boss’s Day to Dr. Lindsay Thorn!

Fluoride is one of the most talked-about topics in dentistry, and it’s completely reasonable to have questions about its benefits, risks, and alternatives.

At LAT Dentistry, we believe dental care shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all. Your cavity risk, preferences, lifestyle, and overall oral health all matter when creating a prevention plan.

In our latest blog, Dr. Thorn breaks down:
-How fluoride helps prevent cavities
-What the research says about potential risks
-Who may benefit from additional fluoride protection
-Hydroxyapatite and other fluoride-free options
-Why individual cavity risk matters when choosing a prevention strategy

Our goal is simple: give you the information you need to make informed decisions about your oral health—without pressure or judgment.
